Amazons changes strange new logo

Amazon is one of the biggest companies in the world and its app logo had recently had a bit of a change. The newest Amazon logo has been developed quietly, and if you havent already seen it then you should know that people had said that it resembled that of the moustache of Adolf Hitler on social media.

The mocked logo was the signature Amazon smile with what looked like a toothbrush styled moustache above it, it was unveiled in January, it would be replacing the previous shopping cart logo that had been used by the company for more than 5 years at this point. But the new design was heavily criticized.

Although the company has not yet said why the logo was changed and whether it was due to the criticism is still unclear. They changed the toothbrush looking moustache to what looked like a label or some tape, in the same blue that the toothbrush looking pattern was in before.

Amazon said that they changed the logo to what looks like a label or a piece of tape to indicate what the parcels are packaged with, sparking excitement and joy in the buyers when they receive the package on their doorsteps - referring to them changing the traditional shopping cart.

Amazon did not directly state whether the change to the original January released logo was due to the response saying that it looked a lot like Adolf Hitler or not. This has to lead to many corporations and companies tread carefully when redesigning or when they are newly designing their online branding, as it has just been demonstrated, due to the criticised Amazon logo, how powerful social media really is, and how people online are not afraid of pointing out criticisms. This negative press could affect sales majorly and no corporation or company wants that.
