Israel could evict over 70 Palestinians from Eastern Jerusalem Neighborhood11 May 2021 ❤ 2
Over the past week Isreali police and marchers have attacked and killed many Palestinians in an unprovoked attack. The two countries have been in a state of war for many years now and on the 10th of may 2021 Masjid Al Aqsa was attacked at night, while many Palestinian muslims were praying. The attack was uncalled for and was unprovoked. Since the attack on the 10th tensions have only risen as the one sided attacks are not stopping.
In addition it has now been said that over the weekend Israel plan to evict Palestinian residents from their homes in Sheikh Jrrah, a neighbourhood in jerusalem. The neighbourhood itself has been claimed by Israeli and Palesitinian sellers alike. The site in question has been the site where protesters have been clashing with Isreali police.
Elizabeth Warren stated on Saturday that this is abhorrent and unacceptable referencing the eviction. Senator Bernie Sanders has also stated that The United States must speak out strongly against the violence by the government referencing the recent attacks that the Israel government has started.
After these attacks, muslims all around Jerusalem have started to protest during the holy month of Ramadan. Over 50 Palestinians were injured, many of them children and all of them peaceful, and at least 90 Palestiains were injured over the course of the past few days.
